Built in 1632 Catton Old Hall is heavily beamed and the old house creaks a bit, which all adds to its character and charm. The owners offer a warm welcome to their home.

All rooms are individually designed and furnished. All have comfortable king or super-king beds. Two rooms can be made into twin rooms. There is one four-poster room and
5 rooms have spa baths.

Area information

Old Catton is a quiet suburb 2.5 miles north-east of Norwich. It is mainly residential, and is home to the recently re-opened Catton Park, with wonderful open parkland to stroll in.

Norwich International Airport is 10 minutes away. The Norfolk Broads, the coastline, Norwich city centre (for shopping, antique shops and many fabulous restaurants and bars) are all accessible.

For the young at heart, the Riverside Complex in central Norwich has night clubs, bars, restaurants, a cinema and riverside walks. The Forum is a must for any tourist visitor.

By Public Transport
You can take a taxi from Thorpe train station.

There is a regular daily bus link from the city centre.
Important information

Please note that some rooms have squeaky floorboards. Some stairs date from the 17th century and are steep.

Pets can only be accommodated in one Superior Room, subject to previous arrangement.
